Pant, Thirst and Cleave to You Oh God

As the deer pants for the water brook, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalm 42: 1-2 (NASB) ~~~~~ I heard a speaker at a men’s retreat once say that he wakes each morning and runs to the cross of Christ. “Going to Hollywood” and Your Glory

I have to admit, I am a pretty big American Idol fan. Watching skillful undiscovered talent shine under the pressure of national television and professional judges is pretty amazing. There’s an excitement and a beauty in hearing nervous amateurs sing so powerfully, right on pitch.
